Three’s a Charm
That’s especially true for ALTA Best Practices. For the third consecutive year, Amrock has achieved the American Land Title Association’s (ALTA) Best Practices for upholding their seven “pillars” of compliance in:
- Escrow Trust Accounting
- Protecting Non-Public Personal Information (NPI)
- Settlement Processes
- Policy Production
- Insurance Coverage
- Resolving Consumer Complaints
ALTA is a national trade organization that’s been promoting industry knowledge and best practices since 1907. They established their Best Practices guidelines to protect consumers, promote quality service and help ensure a positive and compliant real estate settlement experience.
“ALTA’s Best Practices are the gold standard for title and settlement providers,” said Alyssa Gazdag, Amrock’s Director of Audit and Compliance. “It recognizes that we deliver the highest level of service and security to our clients and partners. It also shines a spotlight on our team’s professionalism. We employ some of the most thoughtful and diligent people in the industry, and they always have our clients’ security and best interests in mind. It’s all about their dedication toward ‘Doing the Right Thing’ – which is one of our company principles – when it comes to policies and practices.”
Gazdag added that as Amrock’s thought leaders continue to develop safe and scalable platforms, they balance the compliance and risk requirements of our clients with the need for speed and predictability of service. What we develop must be sustainable, reliable and accurate. So, we embrace and appreciate third-party reviews – like the one we chose to engage in for ALTA Best Practices – where we can rely on a set of external eyes to help ensure we maintain the highest standards.
While we’re honored to meet the seven pillars of compliance, dedication to outstanding service and client satisfaction is our ongoing mission. We’re already rolling up our sleeves and rocking out our orders as we work hard toward a repeat achievement.
