Washington, D.C. (September 24 2018) – Amrock, one of the nation’s largest providers of title insurance, valuations and settlement services, sponsored this fall’s Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) Summit. During the event, Amrock team leaders spoke on a panel about emerging technologies in the real estate industry and sponsored an app that featured customizable schedules and easily accessible event information.

“This industry is always moving forward and creating the newest technology and applications,” said Sam Budzyn, Amrock’s Director of Special Projects. “We were honored to be a part of the Emerging Technologies panel and discuss our insights and strategies for tailoring tech needs to business objectives as a technology-focused company in the real estate industry.”

The MISMO Summit took place between September 24-28 at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, VA and featured several panels related to title insurance, mortgages and real estate. Summit highlights included rising costs and productivity, creating new business opportunities and the current state of mortgages in D.C.

MISMO develops standards for the mortgage finance industry. The non-profit organization focuses on creating common language for every entity writing and regulating mortgages in the U.S. MISMO’s process of exchanging information results in creating new business opportunities and the development of new and innovative products. Amrock looks forward to the continued partnership with MISMO and next year’s event.
