Dreams Do Come True: New Brand, Cool Game, Great Integration at 2018 Ellie Mae Experience
It’s officially spring, which for us means time for the Ellie Mae Experience. We showed up at this year’s highly-anticipated event with an extra swing in our step – because while this was by no means our first year exhibiting at Ellie Mae, it was the first time we attended the innovative conference as Amrock. This past year for us has been all about bringing our big vision to reality. And with this year’s theme being, “Dare to Dream Bigger,” it seems that the conference organizers were in the same frame of mind.
As Amrock, we’re still devoted to delivering exceptional client service, but with an emphasis on process-smart technology. “Changing our name was part of our rebrand initiative – we wanted clients to know that we do so much more than title insurance,” explained Jason Hall, Amrock Vice President of National Sales. “We wanted a name that would grow with us and reflect who we are as a dynamic FinTech company. The response has been overwhelming.” He continued, “so many people have told us how much they love the name, along with our new website. We’re so excited to see how Amrock will pave the way for the future of this industry.”
Ellie Mae’s annual three-day conference in Las Vegas caters to those working in the lending industry, providing demos and training to existing and potential Encompass users. Attendees came from all over the U.S. to dig deeper into using the Encompass LOS. The conference is also a hub for thought leadership, strategy and innovation in the mortgage finance industry.
We brought out our heavy hitters for this one, including Jason Hall, Vice President, National Sales; Jill Kinlin, Director, Account Management; Joe Nino, Team Leader, Account Management; Senior Account Executives Carlie Smith, Zach Hines, Blaine Burgan, Howard Eisenshtadt; and Account Executives Amanda Peck and Laura Miller. During the event, Amrock team members demonstrated the time-saving features of our Encompass module – now updated with the new Amrock look and feel.
“Everyone was really impressed with our module’s integration with Encompass – we received a lot of comments about how much overall worktime was reduced without any added cost,” Hall said. “Plus, there was a lot of positive feedback about the speed and convenience of the module. We couldn’t be happier with the overall performance of our integration.”
We designed a unique branded digital game to celebrate both our new name and our Encompass module. Players had to find matching pairs of images that were reflective of the new Amrock brand, with stylized icons highlighting the time-saving benefits of our integration.
Attendees could play the game as many times as they wanted during the conference. The highest scores were prominently displayed on a leaderboard at our booth. The winner with the highest overall score walked away with a $595 gift voucher for Shinola – a Detroit-based lifestyle brand specializing in handcrafted watches.
“The game was a really fun way to emphasize what’s important to users,” Hall said. “That’s why our module is so great – it’s all about speed and saving time. I think everyone who witnessed our demos came away with that message.”
